報告人簡介:

Dr. Giovanni Bottari, Associate Editor in Nature Communications.Giovannicompleted his University studies and obtained his PhD in Chemistry in 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Felice Faraone at the University of Messina in Italy where he studied the synthesis of chiral-at-metal complexes of ruthenium and rhodium and their application in catalysis, with special attention to asymmetric hydrogenation and C-C /C-heteroatom bond formation. He also spent a research internship at the RWTH-Aachen in Germany during his PhD.After a first postdoctoral experience at Instituto de Investigaciones Químicas (Seville, Spain), working on mechanistic studies on catalytic ammonia borane dehydrogenation and alkynes cyclotrimerization, he moved to University of Groningen, where he focused on the catalytic conversion of lignocellulosic biomass to commodity chemicals funded by a Marie Sklowdowska-Curie individual fellowship and has published several articles in Nat. Commun., JACS, etc. In January 2016, hejoined Nature Communications as Associate Editor and now is basedin the Berlin office，where he handles organic chemistry and homogeneous catalysis.
