報告人簡介：

胡明教授，美籍華人，系美國休斯頓大學太阳集团1088vip教授。胡明教授主要研究方向是黃酮類化合物的吸收與代謝研究及基于吸收與代謝的藥物防治腫瘤機制研究。其主要學術任職有美國藥劑學學會常務理事Molecular Pharmaceutics 和Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine雜志編委。胡教授著有Coupling of Conjugating Enzymes and Efflux Transporters: Impact on Bioavailability and Drug Interaction；Natural Polyphenol Disposition via Coupled Metabolic Pathways；Oral Bioavailability: Basic Principles, Advanced Concepts and Applications等20多部專著，發表了90餘篇SCI論文。曾獲得Rho Chi, A Pharmacy Honor Society等諸多獎項；作為項目負責人目前主要在研課題有：

1.    NIH 2R01GM070737-0310 National Institute of General Medicine.  Disposition of Flavonoids via Metabolic Interplay (competitive renewal). 8/01/09-7/31/13. PI: Ming Hu. The direct cost (all to Hu) is $175,000 ($262,500 total cost) per year for 4 years.
