Prof. LOMPRÉ-DOLOU Anne-Marie簡介：

Dr. Lompré obtained her Doctorates in Electrophysiology in 1976 and in sciences -Biochemistry in 1982 from Paris XI University. She is the Director of Research, 1st Class at INSERM UMRS 956 and Team leader of “cell signaling and novel therapeutic approaches of cardiovascular remodeling”. Dr. Lompré has done milestone studies on the mechanism of cardiac remodeling during hypertrophy and failure. She demonstrated for the first time the shift in myosin a/b isoforms during cardiac development and after pressure overload. She was also among the first to demonstrate the alteration in activity and expression of the sarco/endoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ATPase (SERCA2a) in severe cardiac hypertrophy. Her team has also demonstrated the importance of the multidrug-resistant associated protein, MRP4, a cyclic nucleotides export ATPase in cell signalling. The aim of her team is to decipher new mechanisms involved in disease-associated cardiac and vascular proliferative remodeling (heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, restenosis) in order to define new molecular targets for therapeutic approaches. One main focus is to determine the role of specific proteins involved in calcium handling (SERCA2a and STIM1) in the alteration of gene expression in cardiac and vascular diseases.
