Center for New Drug Safety Evaluations
The center is sponsored by the School with aims to offer new drug safety evaluation services.
The center occupies 3000 m2 space, has labs designed in compliance with international GLP requirements. The center possesses SPF animal care facility (800 m2) for rodent animals (rats, mice) and conventional animal care facility (800 m2) for non-rodent animals (Beagle dogs, rabbits) and several other facility for environmental automatic monitor, clinical pathology, pathology, general toxicology, immunology, safety pharmacology, genotoxicology, toxicokinetics, molecular biology, archive, specimen storage, test article storage, general management, QAU, and IT center. The center is equipped with advanced instruments to facilitate drug screening, safety evaluations, and relevant scientific research.
