Guangdong Research Center for Drug Delivery Systems was established in 2010. The research in the center is focused on development of novel drug delivery systems, and establishment of theory and technology for the delivery systems.

Core Facilities: 
The instruments the center possesses includes High Speed Tablet Pressing Machine with Automatic Control System, Automated capsule filling machine, Centrifugal granulation coating machine, Spay-dryer, Fluidized bed, High-performance coating machine, Automated Dissolution TestAnalyzer, High Pressure Homogenizer, Stability Chambers, Ultra-fine Particle Processing System, Jet mill et al.

Main Goals: 
The research center is devoted to the R&D of novel drug delivery system and the construction of theory and technology on new drug delivery system. And the drug technology platforms which have been built in the center include: (1) Controlled and sustained release technique; (2) Nanometertargeting technique; (3) Bio-pharmaceutical technique; (4) Crystallization technique; and (5) API screening and pharmacological evaluation technique.
