The 1st membership meeting of AAPS-SYSU Student Chapter

On November 23rd 2014, the 1st membership meeting of AAPS-SYSU Student Chapter was successfully held with 11 members at Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). Established in 2014, AAPS-SYSU Student Chapter is the third student chapter in the China.  It aims at fostering a strong and vibrant pharmaceutics community at SYSU and serving as an open platform where global interactions with other Student Chapters are greatly enjoyed. Our ultimate goal is to advance health and pharmaceutical discoveries at the local, regional, and international levels.

    Guilan Quan (Vice-Chair) and Yao Wang (Chair) presented talks on the specific program goals, objectives and regular activities of the SYSU Student Chapter. Following a free discussion into the roles of this chapter, Professor Chuanbin Wu and Dr. Xin Pan as faculty advisors made comments and provided valuable suggestions on the future plans. The Executive Committee also arranged the schedule of activities and events for the upcoming academic year.
