主 持 人:黃民院長    太阳集团1088vip

講座時間:2008年12月11日(星期四)下午四點

講座地點:太阳集团1088vip學術報告廳(125室)

講座摘要:Nuclear receptors play an essential role in regulating the production of drug metabolizing enzymes and transporters. This regulation has broad implications in drug metabolism, drug-drug interactions, pharmacogenetics, and several important human diseases.

News

Wen Xie, is the sole editor of "Nuclear Receptors in Drug Metabolism," a book published by Wiley in November 2008. This eleven-chapter, 330-page book is intended to provide an updated and expert overview of nuclear hormone receptors in drug metabolism and drug development. The book was organized by Xie. In addition to Xie, other contributing authors include leading researchers in the field from the United States, Canada, Germany, and Austria.

Wen Xie, has been selected to receive the prestigious International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics (ISSX) 2008 North American New Investigator Award. ISSX is an international society that facilitates and encourages the assemblage, acquaintanceship, and the association of scientists engaged in research in Xenobiotic metabolism and in other related disciplines.
