主講人簡介：Prof. Zuo joined the School of Pharmacy, The Chinese University of Hong Kong in Jan. 2000. She holds a B. Sc. and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and has had over 10 years experience in the biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics fields. The research studies of Dr. Zuo focus on disclosing the pharmacokinetics profiles of the active flavonoids components in the Tradition Herbal Medicine to find out which active flavonoids components will be absorbed better in vivo and what are the absorption, metabolism and disposition mechanisms involved. Dr. Zuo is also active in the areas of investigation of herb-drug interactions; in-vitro and in-vivo standardization of TCM products; drug delivery systems for flavonoids such as cyclodextrins; and establishment of an in-vitro model for screening drug candidates for transmucosal delivery etc.
